Book Review: An incredible Journey of Faith

My Short Book Review
Book Name: An incredible Journey of Faith
Author : Rev.Dr.P.N.S.Chandra Bose
This book was written by My college President Rev.Dr.PNS.Chandra Bose. This book explains the faith life of the author and his ministry. It contains many coloured images and several inspirational experiences of the author. It seems like autobiography and testimony. This is the first book I finished with my 1st sitting. Because when I read the book I just travel along with the author by seeing the images. The short one line story of this book is A simple theologian who ministered as Presbyter and how God enhanced his vision, leading him to his mission. This book is not explaining the past but a living testimony. What I understood from this book is very simple. Ministry is not about preaching the gospel but it is translation of God’s love to the people. While I read this book I remembered the testimony which is shared in my college during the sermon. It contains many missions of Gospel mission of India in the past and present. It is very new to me because when I read about the Gospel Train, and samaritan purse, Flying hospital, The well of life , i felt that how creative it was and how the mission is successful. In this book I saw the author’s leadership. He is an advocate. When I read his pastoral ministry in CSI church in guntur how much knowledge he had in secular law. It makes awareness about the importance of knowledge of Law for christian ministers. He was president of Bible society of India and AP Minority commission vice chairman. In this book I read my college history. This is awesome because normally we people know the brief history of our college. But while reading the book only I realize that this is 7 years of God’s mission. In some places I feel the author’s experience i.e When he visits the holy land and how he gets exemption from custom duty from Govt . I very much love the dialogues, it enhances the writing and gives more grip to the concept. . This book is very interesting for those who like testimonial autobiography writings.
